Class Dates for 2025

Class time: 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

✅ Class Details:

  • Time: All classes run from 4:30 PM to 6 PM we have 2 group sessions one runs on Tuesdays and one group will be taking classes on Thursdays, both groups will be covering the same content.

  • Duration: 11 sessions, 90 minutes each

  • Equipment: Each student will receive their own Spike Prime Box for the duration of the course and the use of an extension box.

In our  LEGO SPIKE Prime Robotics sessions, we’ll begin with a quick refresher on the basics to ensure all students are on the same page. From there, we’ll delve into programming techniques. Students will explore sensor integration in greater detail, learning how to incorporate distance & color sensor to improve robot functionality. We’ll also focus on  robot design, challenging students to more complex builds and attachments. 

The sessions will include hands-on opportunities to program robots for autonomous tasks, troubleshooting and optimizing designs, and working in teams to solve collaborative challenges. This course is designed to further develop students’ problem-solving, coding, and engineering skills while fostering teamwork, all content is geared specifically towards preparations for the student’s participation into First Lego League competition.

There are 2 options for payment:

  • A one time payment of $495.00 + HST (This option has a $40.00 savings).

  • Multi-Payment Subscription: Three Payments of $178.50 + HST (First Payment with registration + 2 additional payments of $178.50 + HST charged automatically every month for 2 months).

FAQs

  • We understand that sometimes schedules can conflict. If your child is unable to attend a class, we can make the best accommodations for them to attend an alternative day class within the same group. Please note that we do not offer individual catch-up classes for missed sessions.

  • The short answer is no. We will be covering the class content starting with a review of introductory lessons, and then progressively advancing students as the course continues. The goal is to keep the class moving forward together, ensuring all students are on track with the material.

  • You will receive a welcome email one week before class starts.
